SETFt is an oil-free transformer bushing with a solid active part made of resin-impregnated paper and a condenser control. The air-side housing is a silicone composite insulator. This bushing with dry filling is designed for rated voltages of 24 to 800 kV and rated currents up to 6000 A.

Design

The insulating component of the RIP condenser bushing (RIP = resin-impregnated paper) consists of a special paper impregnated with epoxy resin under vacuum, between which conductive inserts of aluminum foil are inserted during the winding process. These inserts serve to control the electric field and, thanks to their good conductivity, ensure optimum voltage distribution even under rapid changes in voltage.

All bushings are designed to the IEC standard 60137 and are tested accordingly. Bushings meeting IEEE standard or other country requirements are available on request.
